The Japanese car maker Nissan started operation way back in 1933. Plenty of new cars have been rolled out from the company’s stables since that year. However, in India, operations did not begin that early. Only years after its venture in Japan, one sunny day Nissan suddenly realized that the Indian car market too had a lot of potential. The car maker performed a thorough research on the Indian market, and finally, in 2004, the Nissan X-Trail set foot on the Indian roads. In this article, let’s have a look at Nissan’s cars in India; the car maker’s journey in India.

The compact SUV that had broken all records in the global market was brought to the Indian market in 2004. Its excellent on-road performance continued on the Indian roads as well. The car’s, chic interiors and best-in-class 4×4 capabilities amazed Indians. The power-packed 2.2 litre dCi diesel motor, washable rear luggage board and inventive practical touches like the chilled drink holders added more fame to the car’s reputation in the Indian market.

After tasting enough success of the Nissan X-Trail, the car make made other smart moves in India to fortify its presence and set up a strong vendor base. In 2007, the Nissan Teana car came in with a big bang. This Nissan car was completely imported from Japan with a perfect blend of balanced proportion, futuristic luxury interior, riding comfort, and excellent performance to suit the needs of the Indians and also the rough and humpy roads in India. The strong and smooth 2349cc VQ23DE V6 petrol engine made the car a major hit. Teana’s engine has been one of the ten best engines for 13 consecutive years as per Ward’s Auto World magazine.

Not just these two cars, Nissan has also launched its 370Z in India. It has been conceived as an “Everyday Sports Car”, bringing to life the sweet spot of performance, style and value, which symbolizes the genetic material in all Nissan cars. With cutting-edge technology, the car is high on safety too. The car’s stylish looks have captured the Indian hearts too and the sales have further boosted Nissan’s confidence in the Indian market. The car maker has gone as far as planning the production of a car within the country. The new car, Nissan Micra will be developed at the Chennai plant in India and will be sold both in the country and overseas.

Nissan Motors has been doing pretty well in the country and now has plans of rolling out plenty more new car models on the Indian roads. Since its debut in India in 2004, Nissan has witnessed a growth of over 200 per cent. The sales figures too show steep climbs. Nissan’s journey from Japan to India has proved to be a big success.

With increasing business opportunities and a fast moving economy, owning a car has become a practical decision for everyone in India, right from the employee working in a company to a business owner, or even a shopkeeper. However, even though a car is one of the basic necessities, most Indians are put off by the idea of the prohibitive costs and maintenance that they have to carry out if they buy a vehicle.

Simply put, many individuals in India think of a car as a ‘white elephant’, which takes a lot of money to maintain and has a set amount of vehicle usage. One of the major aspects of the prohibitive costs of maintaining a vehicle is the fuel costs that go to run it. Even today, a person running a small car would be spending approximately $100 to $300 per week for their fuel needs, in the city of Mumbai, which is quite a major amount of money for most Indians.

If you wish to buy a vehicle, but are put off by the prohibitive costs of fuel, you can decide on a diesel run car. A diesel run car saves a lot of money on the fuel, diesel is quite economical as compared to petrol. However, the maintenance of diesel cars may be slightly higher than that of petrol cars, but then the maintenance depends on car to car basis, as to how the car owner runs the car, the make and model of the car, etc.

Diesel cars are available in all makes and models, and today there are several car manufacturing companies that offer their best selling car models in the diesel version. Therefore, you will be able to buy a diesel run SUV, as well as a diesel run small car, or even a diesel run traveler. There are several new cars that are being designed and launched on a consistent level in diesel model for the economy minded individuals today. Following is brief elaboration of the best diesel cars, in the two major segments, i.e. Family Car and Small Car.

The Toyota Innova (Diesel):

Toyota is a world famous company whose products are known for their style, quality and endurance. In fact, many would consider Toyota to be an automobile company that brings about ground breaking technologies into the world cars. One such product was the Toyota Qualis, which would have won any fan surveys in India. The Toyota Innova is an enhancement of the Toyota Qualis, and true to its predecessor, it has captured the big car market once again, due to several of its aspects like better mileage, better comfort and low maintenance as compared to other family cars in its price bracket.

The Tata Indica V2 (Diesel):

When the first Tata Indica was launched, it was a plethora of problems, with Ratan Tata saying in an interview that people used to stop him during his morning jog to complain about the car door not closing, or something trivial. However, Tata Motors pulled up its socks and completely revamped the Tata Indica, which soon made it one of the most seen small cars on Indian roads. Tata Indica V2 still beats any car in its segment when it comes to fuel efficiency or maintenance costs.

If you need to buy a car with poor credit, you’re certainly not by yourself. Millions of Americans have bankruptcies, repossessions and foreclosures, late payments, medical collections, judgments and the list goes on and on. Having poor credit is not the taboo that it used to be and fortunately if you need a car, there is help.

Just because you have a low credit score, doesn’t mean that you can’t buy a car with poor credit. Some lenders realize that you have a need… These days, you can’t just walk where you’re going unless you live in a very convenient area. You’ve got to get to work, to school, to the grocery store and so on. More and more loan companies these days are specializing in helping people with bad credit auto finance and I’m not talking about those buy here pay here lot kind of places. I’m talking about real, legitimate online loan companies that will get you in a new or used vehicle, regardless of your credit history.

If you’ve got your bills paid on time for the last 90 days, have your bankruptcy discharged or dismissed and have an income of more than $2200.00 combined household income per month, you can get approved for a brand new car. Now the interest rate won’t be 4%. It’ll be more like 9-12%, depending. It’s still reasonable and so long as you’re not trying to buy a $40,000.00 car, you don’t have anything to worry about.

Buying a car with a low credit score is much easier than you might think that it is…

The trick is initiating your auto financing on your own and taking things up with the dealer, second. There are lenders that will approve you for a payment amount based on your income. That payment amount translates into a total dollar amount that you can use to buy a car from any number of dealerships in your area. Don’t let poor credit hold you back as there is help online.
